A Contemporary Choice. As a Wedding Officiant, Celebrant and ordained Non-Denominational Minister, I thoughtfully create and conscientiously deliver wedding ceremonies for couples of all faiths and traditions throughout the Seattle and Puget Sound area – non-denominational, spiritual, religious, inter-faith or civil/secular. I work to reflect your uniqueness as a couple, respecting your beliefs, traditions and values.

I put my heart into this work. I enjoy a fun and inspiring couple who trust me with their personal story. I seek lovebirds who desire to co-create a truly unforgettable lifetime moment for their family and friends – a loving couple of any background, path and tradition to marry well – a couple I would love to know better as a friend for a moment in time or possibly for life.

Working together, I take full responsibility for crafting, writing and delivering your ceremony in an authentic and loving presentation at a location of your choice. It’s important that the words and “feel” of your ceremony reflect your loving partnership. I look forward to sharing with you how I will gather and collect the pieces of your relationship to build your inspiring and romantic wedding ceremony.

All About You & Your Tribe. Truth? I do not use your wedding ceremony as a platform to espouse my personal beliefs but to assist you in celebrating yours.

Simply put, I offer a highly personalized approach to your wedding ceremony. You “own your ceremony” and have the last word on what we do and how we do it, no matter what your faith, belief or tradition. I am the encourager every step of the way to your Big Day as the Officiant of your wedding ceremony, whether formal or casual, traditional or contemporary.

My Time + Talent = Value. Each couple I work with is unique and fees vary. My fee is structured to support the time I dedicate to your ceremony, while working within your budget.

For your trust and money, I design/craft and deliver a custom wedding ceremony, lead your rehearsal, and wear my “ceremony planner hat” to insure an elegant and easy start to your ceremony. I file signed legal paperwork with your County and you have full access to me via phone and email. I offer sweet and simple ceremonies and elopements, too!

I am committed to offering a couple the highest quality of service and value. A great ceremony feels comfortable and easy and yet it is sweetly designed and orchestrated for a desired result.

A Personal Note. I come to this work with a grateful heart and my life philosophy is spiritual in nature with love and kindness at its center.

I am incredibly proud of my wonderful husband, Greg, and the partnership and family we have created in our years together. Perhaps being in such a loving and happy marriage is why I have great devotion, passion and curiosity about the “art of partnership.”

Greg and I live on Bainbridge Island and our heart work as a couple (beyond each other, of course!) is the rescue and rehabilitation of death row dogs with local non-profit rescue groups.

You may want to know that Earl Grey tea and chocolate are magic for me on a very good or challenging day. I am passionate about making a wedding ceremony “real.” I am usually early or on-time for anything and everything. I belong to a group of women who have met regularly for 24 years. I obsess about details. I am in awe of people who live their lives in service of others. I’ve lived in Michigan, Indiana, New York, Alaska and Seattle. I successfully and happily did the corporate thing for 20+ years in special events production and broadcast journalism. I coach other Officiants and Celebrants around the country. I am out-going and quiet in personality. I bake great cakes.
